Edited by Alessandra Capuano and Anna Giovannelli, the catalogue archaelogical landscape’s drawings collects the results of the research Paesaggi dell’archaeologia e progetto di architettura: i disegni di dieci architetti del XX secolo.
The volume is organized through a set of concepts, such as Perception, Storytelling, Layering, Grafting, Contrast developed by Anna Giovannelli, that interpret the project drawings of architects of the 20th century like Luigi Moretti, Dimitris Pikionis, Gustavo Giovannoni, Yannis Tsiomis, Carlo Scarpa, Francesco Cellini, Gonçalo Byrne, João Luis Carrilho da Graça, Álvaro Siza, Eduardo Souto de Moura and Francesco Venezia. The architectural drawings are commented in short essays by teaching Staff in the Erasmus + Joint Master in Architecture, Landscape, Achaeology, besides their printing as autonomous cards.
