The four partner universities of the EMJMD ALA have decided to postpone the beginning of the second intake of one semester and start March 1st. 2021 because of the COVID pandemic. The decision was made in June due to the uncertainty of the progression of the global disease.
In the ALA Master course a substantial part of the teaching includes visits to archaeological sites, museums, superintendencies, working in laboratories with new digital technologies, design workshops based on multicultural exchange and interaction between teachers and students. Therefore, it is not only a matter of conveying a theoretical framework, but the most interesting part comes from the transmission of technical tools and working skills in multidisciplinary teams, activities that would not make much sense to manage at a distance. In fact, the Master is aimed at postgraduate students who already have the basic preparation and the course provides an added value, that goes beyond studying on books and listening to the lessons, offering a rich and collaborative learning experience to foster transdisciplinary peer education.
